In the Honeymoon Phase, people are excited about the new foreign country. Everything is new and fun, so the level of happiness is high.
Possible Answers
In the Negotiation Phase, people start to feel unhappy, have difficulties, get angry or sad easily, and feel homesick. So the level of happiness drops sharply.
In the Adjustment Phase, people slowly deal with difficulties, know what to expect, and start to accept the local culture. The level of happiness begins to rise.
In the Adaptation Phase, people feel at home in the new culture, and cultural differences are not a big problem. The level of happiness rises to a stable and relatively high level again.
