Part 2
Xiwang has a happy life here. However, giant pandas in the wild face serious problems. They are very special animals. It is difficult for them to have babies. Even if baby pandas are born, they may easily get sick and die. Also, they live mainly on bamboo, but the bamboo forests are becoming smaller and smaller. As a result, pandas may not have a place to live or enough food to eat.
Luckily, the government has taken action. There are laws to protect giant pandas and more
nature reserves for them to live in. Moreover, scientists are working hard to help pandas
have more babies. Thanks to all the efforts, the number of giant pandas is increasing.

Exercise
Tigers are big and strong. In the forest, the tiger is the k 1 of the beasts.
Tigers have bright eyes, yellow fur and black stripes. They look so beautiful. They can m 2 very fast. They are good at h 3 other animals. Tigers like to live as a family. But two or three years after baby tigers were born, they usually live a 4 .
But now tigers are f 5 a lot of serious problems. The number of tigers is becoming smaller and smaller because many of their l 6 areas are used for farming. If people keep taking their land, tigers will have no s 7 to live in. Also, people k 8 them for their fur and bones. We must do something. If we do not take a 9 , there will be no tigers left in the world. They will die out in the future.
A feeling of s 10 comes over us when we think of this. I think if we give tigers more land and stop buying tigers’ fur and bones, they will live better. Let’s protect the tiger!
