Oceans cover about 71% of the earth's surface, making them the largest ecosystem on earth.
Grasslands have very few trees but lots of tall grasses and wildflowers.
In deserts, some plants can live without rain for years.
Polar bears live in the North Pole, and penguins live in the South Pole.

The tundra(苔原) ecosystem has a very short growing season because it’s so cold.
