This is a very famous quote from the play “Hamlet” by William Shakespeare, written between 1599 and 1601.
《哈姆雷特》简介
丹麦王子哈姆雷特原本过着平静的生活,却突然遭遇一连串打击:父亲暴毙,母亲很快嫁给新国王(他的叔父克劳狄斯)。父亲的鬼魂现身,告诉哈姆雷特自己是被克劳狄斯毒杀的,让他复仇。
哈姆雷特为了确认真相,假装发疯,通过“戏中戏”验证了叔父的罪行。但他在复仇过程中犹豫不决,既想为父报仇,又困惑于道德、生命的意义,还意外误杀了恋人奥菲利娅的父亲,导致奥菲利娅疯癫死去,她的哥哥雷欧提斯也向哈姆雷特寻仇。
