As is reported, parts of the world are threatened by natural disasters, which occur more often than before. Looking through the record, we know that in 2004, an exceptionally terrible tsunami happened in the Indian Ocean, claiming hundreds of thousands of lives and causing billions of dollars of damage. We also saw a hurricane visit the United States in 2005.It destroyed millions of properties in the area. Despite the fact that much rescue work had been done, it took the lives of 1,800 people plus.
Then what can we do Personally, we should try to forecast natural disasters and take immediate action when any emergency happens, grabbing every minute to save lives. Besides, we're supposed to keep on developing science and technology, using satellites to predict disasters more precisely some day.
