Boy: The ocean is the beating heart of our blue planet. It stretches out, vast and mysterious, like a giant, shimmering blanket covering Earth. It’s home to a wonderful range of sea animals and plants—from tiny, glowing plankton that dance in the dark depths, to huge whales that sing songs across the waves, and colorful coral reefs that look like underwater rainbows.
Girl: The ocean gives us life. Every time we take a breath, we’re using oxygen it helps make. It fills our plates with delicious food—crispy fish, succulent shrimp, and so much more. And it works hard to keep the climate in balance, soaking up heat and moving warm and cold currents around the world, so our weather stays steady.
