Rules Examples
Rule 1 For most adjectives that end in a consonant, we usually add -ly.
Rule 2 For some adjectives that end in -y, we usually change -y into -ily.
Rule 3 For some adjectives that end in -e, we drop -e and add -ly, while for others, we just add -ly.
