This lesson is the first period of the Reading section in Unit 7 "Be Wise with Money" from the
Oxford Yilin Edition of Grade 7 English (Volume 1).The theme of this text falls under the "Life and
Learning" theme group within the "Person and Self" category, covering sub-topics such as "rational
consumption" and "awareness of thrift". Through the shopping dialogue between Simon and his
mother, the topic of "family money management" is introduced, involving concepts and strategies of
family financial management. Students will learn to make a clear and organized family budget with
the help of a pie chart, guiding them to budget rationally and initially establish good financial
awareness and consumption habits.Students will learn and master theme-related words and phrases,
such as manage, budget, cover, cost, education, daily, save, bank, percent, pay for, etc.
四、学情分析
Students in Grade 7 have accumulated a certain foundation in English learning. They have
mastered common basic vocabulary, such as numbers and nouns for daily necessities, and can
make basic expressions on simple daily topics.Students in Grade 7 have gained some experience
in daily shopping and have a preliminary understanding of shopping skills, good shopping habits,
and protecting their consumer rights. However, due to their limited social experience and financial
literacy, their ability to distinguish and exercise self-control is relatively weak, and they do not
have sufficient financial management ability to understand, judge, and form a correct consumption
concept.Students in Grade 7 generally have a slow reading speed. They are used to reading word
by word and cannot quickly capture key information.Students can understand the surface informa-
tion of the text, such as identifying the shopping locations and purchased items mentioned in the
passage. However, they have difficulty comprehending the deeper meaning, such as the rational
consumption concept conveyed by the author through describing different shopping methods.

(一) 教学目标达成
本课时是七年级上册 Unit 7 Be wise with money 的 Reading 第一课时。本课时涉及到子主
题的内容有“合理消费,节约意识”。这一话题贴近学生实际生活,让学生有话可说,乐于表
达。本课时以英语学科核心素养为导向,秉持英语学习活动观,实施“教--学--评”一体化设
计,达到了预测的目标。
语言能力: 学生能够通过学习,掌握一些基本单词和短语;学生通过阅读,获取 Simon 与
Mum 在对话中谈到关于家庭理财的内容,包括日常支出,特殊支出,存款。完成思维导图;
学习能力:学生能够通过阅读和分析文本,提高阅读技能,能够更快速、准确地理解文章
的内容和主旨;合作学习能力:通过小组讨论、角色扮演等活动,学生能够与小组成员积极协
作,共同完成课堂互动任务。在合作过程中,学会倾听他人意见,清晰表达自己观点,合理分
工,共同解决问题,提升团队协作和沟通交流能力,增强在英语环境下开展合作学习的默契与
效率。学生能够和同伴小组合作,设计自己的奖学金的饼状图,并简单介绍自己的奖学金的安
排。

三)不足之处

.板书不够精美简练,未能达到一目了然的效果。对学生个体差异关注不足:课堂上虽然
整体参与度较高,但部分基础薄弱的学生在理解长难句和运用新词汇时仍存在困难,而我未能
及时给予足够的个性化指导,这可能会影响他们对知识的掌握和学习积极性。

.时间把控欠佳:在精读环节,对个别复杂句子的讲解耗时过长,导致后面的角色扮演活
动时间略显仓促,部分小组未能充分展示,学生在语言输出方面未达到预期效果。
四)改进措施
.优化时间管理:更加精细地规划各教学环节的时间,在备课过程中充分预估每个知识点
所需讲解时间,对于重点难点内容,合理分配时间,确保课堂节奏紧凑有序。
.加强分层教学:关注学生的个体差异,在课堂提问、小组活动等环节,针对不同层次的

学生设计不同难度的任务。对于基础薄弱的学生,提供更多的支持和引导,如在词汇理解方面,
可以给予更多的例句或图片解释;在句子分析上,进行更细致的拆解和辅导。课后,为他们提
供针对性的辅导和练习,帮助他们巩固所学知识,逐步提高学习能力。

.深化拓展内容:在今后的教学中,对拓展环节进行更深入的设计。在讨论明智消费时,
可以引入一些社会热点案例,引导学生从不同角度分析消费行为的影响,培养他们的社会责任
