What does “Cooking is love made visible.” mean
It means cooking shows love in a way you can see. When you cook for someone, your care and love become something real, like a meal. So cooking is a visible form (可视的形式) of love.
“Cooking is love made visible.” That is what my grandmother always told me. Thanks to her, I love cooking. It’s a great way for me to share my love with others. Every time I sit at the table, after cooking for my family, we create memories. The smells and the food’s taste, along with our conversations, connect us to each other. What wonderful memories I have!

Her friendly kitchen was the perfect place to warm up and enjoy a taste of the changing seasons. I still remember the days when the smell of cinnamon filled the room with sweetness. Now, every time I smell cinnamon, I think of my grandmother’s pumpkin pie.

One of my best food memories is making jiaozi with my mom during the Spring Festival. She taught me each step patiently: how to put the filling in, how to wrap it, and how to make it look nice.
