Hello everybody. Today I'd like to give you some advice on dealing with natural disasters.
If there's a flood, you should get to high ground and stay there. Don't get close to or even walk through the water, as it may wash you away. If you are caught in a typhoon, you must quickly go inside the nearest building. The strong winds can move cars and other big objects, so it is very dangerous to be outside. When an earthquake happens, you should get outside as soon as possible. However, if you can't, stay under a strong desk or table to protect yourself. Don't stand near a window, because you may get hurt.
That's all for today's talk. I hope you know more about how to keep yourself safe and sound.

Amy: There was some really good advice in that talk, but what about
emergencies What should we do if we get caught in an emergency
Daniel: well, if your building is on fire, try to get out as soon as possible. Cover
your mouth and nose with a wet piece of cloth to protect yourself from
thick smoke and stay low to the ground. If it is impossible for you to
get out, find a safe place to stay and wait for help.
Amy: Yes, and don't go back into a building on fire. It's very dangerous.
Daniel: Yes, that's really important. And car accidents happen every day, so
what should we do if we see one
Amy: I think we should make an emergency call as soon as possible, then we
can check if people in the cars are fine or not. Remember not to move
them if they are badly hurt.
Daniel: That's useful advice. I think it's also important to put emergency signs
around the cars or other accidents might happen.

A Forest Fire Near My Town
I went to the forest with my classmates last autumn. We were hiking when we noticed the sky turning orange. Suddenly, we smelled smoke and heard people shouting. A forest fire had started not far away!
We quickly ran away from the trees toward an open field. When we looked back, we saw huge flames and black smoke covering the sky. Many tall trees and some small houses near the forest were damaged.
Soon, helicopters arrived and dropped water from above. Firefighters also came to control the fire. They told everyone to leave the area safely.
Luckily, no people or animals were hurt. The firefighters said the hot and dry weather caused the fire. After a few hours, the fire was put out. We were all happy that everyone was safe, but we also felt sorry for the lost forest.
