专题七　冠词
一、不定冠词
1.用法
不定冠词a/an与one同源，表示“一”的概念，但并不强调数目。a用于辅音音素开头的单词前；an用于元音音素开头的单词前。
(1)用在单数可数名词前，表示一类人或物；
(2)用于第一次提及的人或事物前；
(3)表示人或事物的身份、性质；
(4)表示“每一”，用于表示时间、速度、价格等意义的名词前；
(5)用在序数词前，表示“另一个，又一个”；
(6)用在固定短语中。

2.含不定冠词的常见短语

二、定冠词
1.用法
(1)谈话双方都知道的人或事物；
(2)特指上文提过的人或事物；
(3)与形容词连用，表示一类人或物，如the young年轻人；
(4)用在姓氏复数前，表示一家人或夫妇俩，如the Greens Green一家/夫妇；
(5)表示世界上独一无二的事物，如the Sun太阳；
(6)用在表示方位、乐器的名词前，如play the violin拉小提琴；
(7)用在由普通名词构成的专有名词前，如the Great Wall长城；
(8)用在江河、海洋、湖泊、山脉、群岛的名称前，如the Yellow River黄河；
(9)用在序数词、形容词的最高级前；
(10)用在固定短语中。
特指双熟悉，上文已提及，时尚独无二，序数最高级，某些专有名，节日和乐器
2.含定冠词的常见短语
all the time总是；一直　　　　　　 in the end最后
at the beginning of在……的开始 on the right/left在右边/左边
by the way顺便说一下 with the help of sb.在某人的帮助下
at the age of在……岁时 in the middle of 在……中间
on the whole大体上；基本上 at the same time同时
on the other hand在另一方面 in the daytime在白天
三、零冠词
以下情况不用冠词：
(1)名词前有指示代词、物主代词、不定代词或所有格修饰时，不用冠词；
(2)季节、月份、星期、节日、三餐、棋类活动、球类运动、学科等名称前一般不用冠词；
(3)在称呼、职位、头衔等词前不用冠词；
(4)当by与交通工具连用时，交通工具前不用冠词；
(5)复数名词泛指一类人或事物时，其前不用冠词；
(6)在专有名词、物质名词、抽象名词前不用冠词。
