专题十三　并列连词和并列句
一、定义
(1)连词是连接单词、短语、句子的词。连词是虚词，在句中不独立作句子成分。连词主要分为并列连词和从属连词。并列连词连接并列句，从属连词连接主从复合句。
(2)并列句是由并列连词把两个或两个以上的简单句连在一起构成的句子。其中的简单句通常被叫作分句。并列连词前可用逗号，也可不用
逗号。
基本结构：简单句＋并列连词＋简单句。
二、用法
1.并列关系
连词(短语) 含义及用法
and “和，而且”，表示并列、递进或顺承关系
“祈使句＋and＋陈述句”，表示结果，常可以转换成“If you...，you will/may...”句式
both... and... “……和……都”，可用于连接两个主语或宾语。连接两个并列的主语时，谓语动词用复数
连词(短语) 含义及用法
not only... but also... “不仅……而且……”，用于连接两个表示并列关系的成分，着重强调后者，可连接主语、谓语、宾语或表语等。连接主语时，遵循“就近原则”，即谓语动词要和 but also后的主语保持人称和数的一致
neither... nor... “两者都不……”，用于句中表否定意义，可连接主语、宾语或表语等。连接主语时，遵循“就近原则”，即谓语动词要和nor后的主语保持人称和数的一致
She opened the door，and entered the room. 她打开门，然后走进了房间。
Study hard，and you are sure to have a good result in the exam.
努力学习，你一定能在考试中取得好成绩。
Both she and I do well in English. 我和她都擅长英语。
Not only you but also he wants to buy the book.不仅是你，而且他也想买这本书。
He can speak not only English but also French.他不仅会说英语，而且会说法语。
Neither he nor his children like fish.他和他的孩子们都不喜欢鱼肉。
2.转折关系
连词 含义及用法
but “但是”，表示转折关系
while “然而”，表示对比或转折关系
I want to help the poor，but I don’t know what to do for them.
我想帮助穷人，但我不知道该为他们做些什么。
He wants to be a writer，while I want to be a scientist.他想当作家，而我想当科学家。
3.选择关系
连词(短语) 含义及用法
or “或者”，表示选择关系
“否则；要不然”，用于“祈使句＋or＋陈述句”结构，表示条件，常可以转换成“If you don’t...，you will/may...”
either... or “或者……或者……”，可连接主语或宾语。连接主语时，遵循“就近原则”，即谓语动词和or后的主语保持人称和数的一致
Your father will be back tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. 你爸爸明天或者后天回来。
Be quick，or we’ll be late for class. 快点，不然的话我们上课会迟到的。
Either he or you are right.要么你对，要么他对。
4.因果关系
连词 含义及用法
for “因为”，表示因果关系
so “因此”，表示因果关系
He has many good friends，for he is an honest man.
他有许多好朋友，因为他是个诚实的人。
Kate was ill，so she didn’t go to school. Kate生病了，所以她没有去
上学。
在 并列句中，so与 because，but与 though/although/even though不能同时出现在一个句子中。
