一、名词单复数
1. 规则变化
一般情况下,直接加-s:book → books;pen → pens
以s, x, ch, sh结尾,加-es:bus → buses;box → boxes;watch → watches;brush → brushes
以辅音字母+y结尾,变y为i加-es:family → families;country → countries(注意:元音字母+y结尾直接加-s:boy → boys)
以o结尾,有生命的加-es,无生命的加-s:tomato → tomatoes;potato → potatoes;photo → photos;radio → radios
以f/fe结尾,变f/fe为v加-es:knife → knives;leaf → leaves(特殊:roof → roofs)
2. 不规则变化
单复数同形:sheep → sheep;deer → deer;Chinese → Chinese
特殊变化:tooth → teeth;foot → feet;child → children;mouse → mice
3. 易错提示:“一副/一双”(a pair of)修饰复数名词时,谓语动词由pair的单复数决定,如:A pair of shoes is on the desk. Two pairs of shoes are on the desk.
二、一般现在时
1. 用法
表示经常性、习惯性的动作:I usually get up at 6:00 a.m.
表示客观事实或真理:The earth goes around the sun.
表示当前的状态:He is a student.
2. 动词形式
主语是第一、二人称及复数时,用动词原形:We play football every Sunday.
主语是第三人称单数时,动词加-s/es(变化规则同名词复数):She watches TV every evening. He does his homework after school.
3. 标志词:usually, often, always, sometimes, every day/week/month, never, seldom等
三、be动词的用法
1. 基本形式:am, is, are(过去式:was, were,本阶段重点掌握现在式)
2. 用法口诀:我(I)用am,你(you)用are,is连着他(he)、她(she)、它(it);单数名词用is,复数名词全用are;变疑问,往前提,句末问号别忘记;变否定,更容易,be后not加上去。
3. 例句

He is from America. The cat is black.
