Sample 2
Today I would like to share with you a heart-warming story after a natural disaster.
It was a terrible earthquake happened in Wenchuan, Sichuan Province on May 12, 2008. Liao Zhi, a young dancer experienced it. Unfortunately, she lost her both legs and her daughter in the disaster. She felt hopeless at that time.
However, with the support of her family and friends, she practiced dancing hard every day with artificial legs instead of giving up. Finally, she went back on the stage and danced beautifully like before, showing her courage to everyone. Now, she lives a positive life. She not only keeps dancing confidently but also visits other disaster survivors, sharing her story to help them stay hopeful.
Liao Zhi’s story shows that we should always be brave to face the pains with courage. Just be the heroine of ourselves, not the victim.
