一、动词不定式作原因状语
功能:解释主句动作或状态发生的原因,常接在情感类形容词(如 happy, sad, surprised等)或评价类形容词(如 kind, clever等)后。
结构:主语+be动词+情感/评价类形容词+动词不定式(表原因)
例句:He was excited to get his birthday present.他很激动,因为他收到了生日礼物。

二、动词不定式作结果状语
功能:表示主句动作导致的结果,常与副词 enough 或 too…to 结构搭配,或隐含自然因果关系。
结构:主语+be动词/谓语(动作)+形容词/副词+enough+动词不定式(表结果)

例句:The boy ran fast enough to catch the bus.这个男孩跑得很快,足以赶上公交车。
