现在进行时的含义
(1) I am reading in a library now.
(2) Jack is swimming now.
(3) Listen! They are singing an English song.
听！他们正在唱一首英文歌。
Jack正在游泳。
我正在图书馆读书。
1.现在进行时可以表示说话时正在进行或发生的动作。
★现在进行时常与now, at the moment等时间状语, 或look，listen等词连用。
(1) The students are studying Unit 8 this week.
2. 现在进行时也可表示现阶段一直持续的动作，但说话时动作不一定进行，常带有this week, these days等时间状语。
这周学生们在学第八单元。
(2) We are not working on a farm these days.
这些天我们不在农场工作。
(3) I'm writing a long novel these days.
我最近在写一部长篇小说。

主语
V-ing
be动词(am/is/are)
① We use am + ing form of a verb with the subject ____.
② We use is + ing form of a verb with the subjects _____, _____, and ____.

How to make the -ing form of a verb
She is playing the violin.
I live near a park. Look！Some people are doing morning exercise now. They look lively.
live + ly = lively 以ly结尾的特殊形容词
lovely, lonely, friendly
①大多数动词后加ing。
read —

②以不发音的e结尾的动词，去掉e, 再加ing。

③以ie结尾的动词，变ie为y, 再加ing。

④以一个辅音字母结尾的重读闭音节动词 (重读闭音节首先必须是重读音节，同时这个音节以辅音因素结尾)， 双写最后一个辅音字母，再加ing。

现在进行时的用法
主语在句首,am、is、are 跟在后。
现在分词跟着走,其他成分不可丢。
表示动作正进行,句中now将时间定。
一般问句很简单,把be提到主语前。
否定句式这样变,be后只把 not 添。
现在分词的构成
现在分词用途多，进行时态不可缺。
它的构成很好记，动词后缀ing。
词尾若有哑音e，去e 再加没问题。
一辅重读闭音节，这个字母要双写。
还有一点要注意，改ie 为y 再加ing。

疑问句结构：
一般疑问句：Be (Am/Is/Are)+主语
+动词的现在分词(+其他）
肯定回答：Yes, 主语+be (am/is/are).
否定回答：No, 主语+be(am/is/are)+not.
