Write a speech
Do you like listening to music
Why do you like it
Music is a relief for my pressure from life and work. When I get absorbed in the world of music, I feel as if I could see the beauty of the world around me.
It’s a good way of killing time to listen to music when I feel bored.
Music can relieve my pain and suffering when I get hurt.
Lost in gentle music, I will find it beneficial to my sleep when sometimes I have difficulty falling asleep.
Whenever I feel anxious, music helps me calm down and focus on what I am doing.
Now, let's read a speech to see how music influences Sarah's life.
Read the speech below and answer the questions.
1. What was Sarah's problem
2. How did she feel

to music Why

her during her difficult time

to others

Hello! My name is John, and I'm here to talk about the power of music over words. Two years ago, my grandmother passed away, and music has helped me cope since then.
Sometimes words cannot describe what we are feeling, but music can. As Hans Christian Anderson once said, “Where words fail, music speaks.” Music is like a special language that everyone can understand. Have you ever heard a piece of music and remembered an important time in your life Perhaps when something important happened, or when you felt really happy or sad. I feel this way about a piece of classical music by Eric Satie called “Gymnopedie No.1”. It reminds me of my grandmother. It is like an old friend comforting me when I hear it.
This music helps me remember how much I miss her. It helps me remember all the great times we had. And music helps me remember all the great times we had. And music helps me be grateful for that time togther. If you struggle to find the words to help you, music can be your guide.
Hello, my name is Li Hua, and I'm here to talk about how music influenced my life. Have you ever had a time when everything looked wrong and you had difficulty dealing with it Three years ago, I was told my father got cancer, which was impossible to cure. It seemed as if the world was at an end. The doctor suggested that we should keep calm and help my father to fight with the disease bravely. He also advised my father to listen to music often. Walter Haddon said, "Music is the medicine of a troubled mind" My father followed the doctor's advice and listened to some soft music from time to time. Music is indeed a kind of good medicine. It helped my father relieve pain. It helped my father feel relaxed during the treatment. It also helped my father have confidence in the future. Music seemed like our best friend and it offered us encouragement, which helped us to go through the hardest time.
I do hope none of you have to meet with hard times in your life. In case you come across the same situation, advise you to listen to music more, for it does help.
   Thank you for listening
