Unit 1 Agreement I
在英语中，主语和谓语必须在人称和数上保持一致。
主谓一致，即单数主语须用谓语的单数形式，复数主语须用谓语的复数形式。如：
My dormitory is beautiful and big.
我的宿舍又大又漂亮。
We also get to taste what we’ve cooked in our classes.
我们还可以品尝我们在课堂上做的菜。

用法：
一般现在时由动词原形构成，但当主语是第三人称单数时，动词原形通常要加-s 或-es。
Our teachers always give us lots of practical tips.
Our teacher always gives us lots of practical tips.
我们的老师总是给我们许多实用的建议。

1. 是语言中对对话双方外其它某一个人指示时使用的代词:he, she, it
主语是第三人称单数的情况
2. 单个人名、地名或称呼
eg.
He likes watching TV. 他喜欢看电视。
Han Mei looks like her mother. 韩梅看起来像她的母亲。
Beijing is in China. 北京在中国。
Uncle Wang often makes cakes. 王叔叔经常做蛋糕。

3. 单数可数名词或"this/that/the+单数可数名词"
4. 不定代词someone, somebody, nobody, everything, something等及指示代词this, that
eg.
A horse is a useful animal. 马是有用的动物。
This book is yours. 这本书是你的。
Everyone is here. 大家到齐了。
This is a pen. 这是一支钢笔。

动词第三人称单数的变化
构成方法 例词
在词尾加-s help→helps, know→knows, get→gets, read→reads
以字母s,x,sh,ch结尾的动词加-es guess→guesses, fix→fixes, teach→teaches, wash→washes
以字母o结尾的动词加-es go→goes
以辅音字母加y结尾的动词，先变y为i,再加-es carry→carries, worry→worries

用法：
含有every 或each 的主语，后面用谓语的单数形式；all 和some 接复数名词时，后面用谓语的复数形式。
Every student has to take the test.
All the students have to take the test.
