一般过去时：
通常用来描述在过去某个时间点发生的动作、行为或存在的状态。讲述故事通常也是一般过去时。eg. Tom went to school yesterday.

用法：
1.常与一般过去时连用的时间词语有:yesterday，last week/year, in 2018，just，a week/month ago，once upon a time，in the past 等。
He helped me with my homework last week.
昨天他帮我完成作业了。
She went to school by bus in the past.
过去她乘公交车上学。
eg.

用法：
2. 一般过去时动词规则变化。
规则 动词原形 过去式
（1）一般在动词原形后加-ed help helped
（2）以e字母结尾的直接+d hope hoped
（3）重读闭音节词，末尾只有一个辅音字母的，双写辅音字母加-ed stop plan stopped

（4）以辅音字母+y结尾的变y为i加-es fly flies

3. 一般过去时动词的不规则变化。
do-did am/is –was are-were go-went
get-got come –came say-said see-saw
read-read eat-ate take-took will-would
eg.

否定句：一般过去时的否定形式是由did not（didn’t）加动词原形构成；结构：主语+did not(didn’t)+ do+...
She didn’t/did not see any people in the park this morning.
今天早上她在公园里没有看到任何人。
I didn’t/did not go to school last Sunday.
上星期日我没有去学校。
eg.

用法：
4.一般疑问句：一般过去时的一般疑问句是将did放到句首，动词变为原形构成；结构：Did+主语 +do+ ...
Did she see any people in the park this morning
今天早上她在公园里看到任何人了吗？
Did you go to school last Sunday
你上星期天上学了吗？
