Sara has just arrived in Beijing and she wants to giant panda Menglan. However, she doesn’t know how to get to Beijing Zoo.

问路的表达方式：

指路的表达方式：
You can take … and transfer to ….
Go straight ahead. It’s next to ….
Turn left/right at …, you’ll see …in front of you.
Walk along this road. You will find the… on the right/left.
Sarah: Excuse me, how can I get to Beijing Zoo
打扰一下，请问到北京动物园怎么走？
Li Wei: I don’t think it’s far from here. You can take Line 1 to Xidan, and then transfer to Line 4 to Beijing Zoo.
动物园离这儿不远。你可以乘坐1号线到西单，然后转4号线去北京动物园。
2. Learn the sentence patterns.
I don’t think. 我认为……不，此为否定转移，在I think/suppose/believe后面的从句里，如果有否定含义，往往需要将否定词由从句转移到主句。
be far from：离……远
transfer to：转移到，换乘到
Sarah: Excuse me, how can I get to Beijing Zoo
打扰一下，请问到北京动物园怎么走？
Li Wei: I don’t think it’s far from here. You can take Line 1 to Xidan, and then transfer to Line 4 to Beijing Zoo.
动物园离这儿不远。你可以乘坐1号线到西单，然后转4号线去北京动物园。

Sarah: How many stops are there from Xidan to Beijing Zoo
从西单到动物园有几站？
how many用于特殊疑问句时，句式为how many + 复数名词 + 一般疑问句？how much用来修饰不可数名词，表示数量，也用来询问价格。
Stop：此处指车站
from… to…：从…到…，既可用来表示时间，也表示地点、距离等。from A to Z指精通某事

只有六站。在地图上的这里。如果你下载了这个应用软件的话，就可以随时查看地图。
此为if引导的条件状语从句。引导条件状语从句的连词有if、useless/if…not、as/so long as、as/so far as等，如果主句是将来时态，条件状语从句用一般现在时。
Whenever you want：随时，不论什么时候。此为让步状语从句，可与no matter when you want替换。

在楼下。你可以乘电梯下去。
Downstairs：楼下。Go upstairs/downstairs 上/下楼
Take the lift：乘坐电梯。英式直梯为lift，美式直梯则为elevator，扶梯为escalator，不区分英美式。
2. Learn the sentence patterns.
Li Wei: My pleasure.
不客气。
同样表示不客气的有You’re welcome、No problem/not a problem、it’s okay/alright、It’s my pleasure、anytime等。注意的是with pleasure指的是乐意效劳，常用于回答Could you give me a hand？等寻求帮助的句子。
常用表达感谢的口语表达为Thanks/Thank you so much、Thanks a ton、Thanks a million、Thanks a bunch、Many thanks。

You can take … and transfer to …./Go straight ahead. It’s next to …./Turn left/right at …, you’ll see …in front of you./Walk along this road. You will find the… on the right/lift.
