现在进行时的主要用法
1、表示“此刻”正在进行的动作
例：She is sitting under the tree.
2、表示“现阶段”正在进行的动作
例：The writer is writing a new book these days.
总结：现在进行时的结构为
主语+be动词（am/is/are)+现在分词+…
3、用“现在进行时”表示将来
例：I am coming.
We are leaving tomorrow.
总结：表示“来来去去”的词，如：come go leave start move arrive fly stay等，用这些词的现在进行时表示将来的动作。
4、某些介词短语用于“主系表”结构中表示动作正在进行。
例：They are at table.
=They are eating lunch now.
My mother is at work now.
=My mother is working now.
5、我们知道，“always”是一般现在时的标志词。但是，在某种情况下，它也可以用于现在进行时。当它用于现在进行时的时候，表示一种“感彩”，译为“总是”。
He is always telling lies .（他总是撒谎）
She is always helping others.
6、某些特殊动词，不能用现在进行时。
（1）have当“有”讲时,不能用现在进行时
I have two books now.
（2）”belong to”(属于），没有现在进行时
The two apples belong to me now.
（3）表示”心理活动”的词，不用现在进行时
I want a dog now.
可以看出，以上例子中含有现在进行时的标志词now，但不能用现在进行时。
现在进行时的标志
1、表示现在的时间：
(now at the moment)
例：I am cleaning the classroom now.
2、表示现阶段的时间：
( these days at present)
例：What are you doing these days
3、有些“祈使句”可提醒是现在进行时。
Sh! be quite! The baby is sleeping.
Hurry up! The bus is coming.
4、句子中有“look”、”listen”时，用现在
进行时。
Look! the children are playing happily in the park.
现在分词的构成
1、直接+ing
doing going standing
walking playing emptying
2、去掉末尾不发音的“e”+ing
coming riding phoning
writing arriving shaving
driving changing making
3、重读闭音节结尾的单词，
双写最后一个字母+ing
putting letting beginning
running preferring shutting
digging swimming sitting
getting shopping
4、以”ie”结尾，变“ie”为y+ing
tie –tying
lie –lying
die –dying
