2. If you are driving, pull over, stop and set your parking brake. Avoid overpasses, bridges, power lines, trees, signs, buildings, vehicles and other things that may fall on your car.
At home:
1. Take shelter under a stable table. Hold on
until the shaking stops.
2. Stay away from bookcases and other
furniture that can fall on you.
3. Stay away from windows.
4. DO NOT run outside or to other rooms
during the shaking.
5. DO NOT use the lift.
In a factory:
1. Quickly move to a safe place that is free of falling objects.
2. Cut off power if possible.
3. DO NOT use the lift to get away from the workplace or office during the shaking.
4. Take shelter under stable objects.
