表示正在进行的动作或存在的状态，用现在进行时。
现在进行时：

构成：
现在进行时由 be（am / is / are）和动词的-ing 形式构成
be（am / is / are）＋V-ing
He is reading a book. 他正在看书。
She is making a cake at the moment.
她此刻正在做蛋糕。
Listen ! They are singing songs.
听！他们在唱歌。
eg.
句式：
be 动词随着人称的变化而变化
用法：
1. 表示说话者说话时正在进行的动作，常与表示“此刻”的时间状语连用，如 now, at this moment, at present
He is repairing his old bike now.
他现在正在修理他的旧自行车。
—What are you doing，Tom
汤姆，你在干什么？
—I’m playing the computer games.
我在玩电脑游戏。
eg.
用法：
2. 表示目前一段时间内正在进行的动作（但此时此刻即说话时并不一定正在进行），与表一段时间的时间状语连用，如 this week, these days等
He is writing a book these days.
这些天他在写一本书。
We are learning French at college this term.
这学期我们在大学学习法语。
eg.
用法：
3. 在时间状语从句中需要强调两个动作同时进行，
两部分都可以用现在进行时。
The girls are dancing
while the boys are playing basketball.
女孩们在跳舞，男孩们在打篮球。
eg.
用法：
4. 现在进行时与 always, constantly, forever, instantly, continually, continuously 等频度副词连用，表达说话人的某种感情，如厌恶、厌烦、赞扬、抱怨等。
He is always making noises at night.
他晚上总是发出噪音。
She is always working hard.
她总是努力工作。
eg.
注意：
现在进行时表示一般将来时的用法。表示位置移动的动词如 go, come, leave, arrive, stay, start 等，用现在进行时表示按计划、安排将要发生的动作。
