1. since引导的时间状语从句
时间状语从句
since引导的时间状语从句常与完成时连用, 表示“自从…….”。
I have known Bill since he was born.
自从比尔出生起, 我就认识他。
思考1：什么是状语？
1）状语是对谓语动词进行补充、说明和完善的成分。
Eg: He speaks English well.
Tom runs in the morning.

思考2：什么是状语从句？
I will call you tomorrow.
I will call you when he comes.
主句
从句
当状语部分是由句子构成的时候，
我们称这样的句子为状语从句。
1.主句+连接词+从句

Adverbial clause
An adverbial clause means a clause that functions as an adverb in a sentence to indicate time(时间）, reason（原因）, place（地点）, condition（条件）, result（结果）, purpose（目的） and concession（让步）.
when与while 都意为“当……的时候”。when 引导的时间状语从句, 谓语动词既可以是持续性的, 也可以是终止性的；而while引导的时间状语从句, 谓语动词只能是持续性的, 并且常用进行时态。试比较：
When he woke up, it was nine o’clock． √
While he woke up, it was nine o’clock． ×
When I was waiting for a bus, I met her． √
While I was waiting for a bus, I met her． √
辨析
三、before引导的时间状语从句
before表示主句的动作发生在从句之前。
e.g. I can’t tell you what happened before he comes back.
他回来之前我不能告诉你发生什么了。
四、after引导的时间状语从句
after表示主句的动作发生在从句的动作之后。
e.g. After she finished the task, she enjoyed a happy vacation.
完成任务后，她好好地度了一个假。
until/till
1. He waited until/till all the guests left.
2. I didn’t go to bed until/till my mom came back.
until/till: 直到……为止

2. 主句用于否定句：not...until...
直到…才…
表示主句的动作一直持续到某时才开始，主句动词既可以是延续动词，也可以是瞬间动词。
He didn't go to bed until he finished his homework.
3. 时态
He didn't do his homework until his father came home.
She doesn't watch TV until she finishes her homework every day.
I won't go out until I finish my homework.

before :在…之前
（主句动作发生在从句动作之前）

after: 在…之后

（主句现在完成时，从句一般过去时）

as soon as : 一…就…
