Now find more sentences with these structures in the reading passage.
They are simple future tense(一般将来时).
1. The water will rise up to the Leaf through the Stem.
2. Then workers in the Leaf will mix water, CO2 and sunlight.

5. Another product will be oxygen, but the plant doesn’t need much of it.

观察并思考will和be going to的使用场景和区别。
一般将来时表示将来某个时间要发生的动作或存在的状态,常与表示将来的时间状语连用。如:
tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, next week/month/year, in two days, in the future等。

一般疑问句
Be (am/is/are) + 主语 + going to + 动词原形?
E.g. —Is she going to visit the museum tomorrow
肯定回答:Yes, 主语+be动词.
否定回答:No, 主语+be动词 +not.
—Yes, she is./ No, she isn’t.
【注意】
What is he going to do this afternoon 他今天下午要做什么
What are you going to do this weekend 你这个周末要做什么
What are they going to do this evening 他们今天晚上要做什么

2.根据询问的具体情况,可以在句首加不同的疑问词。
E.g.When is Helen going to visit her granddaughter in China

E.g. We are going to Hong Kong for a holiday.

3. 如果表示计划到某地去,由于谓语动词go 与 going 重
复, 一般可以只说“be going to +地点"。
现在进行时可表示计划或准备要做的事。如:
My brother is swimming tomorrow.
Jenny is on holiday now. I want to know when she is coming back.

一般疑问句
肯定回答:Yes, 主语+will.
Will + 主语 + 动词原形?
否定回答:No, 主语+won’t.
E.g. —Will you write a book

be going to和will的区别
be going to通常表示事先经过考虑、计划或安排将要发生的事情,强调主观上已经决定要做某事,有一定的计划性和打算性。
will 则多用于客观的情况,即客观上将要发生的事情,不强调计划性。
