Madame Curie: A Shining Star in Science
Marie Curie, born on November 7, 1867 into an intellectual family in Poland. She developed a strong interest in physics and reading from childhood. At that time, women in Poland were not allowed to attend university, so she went to France for further study, where she obtained a degree in physics.
In 1903, her notable discovery of radium earned her the Nobel Prize in physics. Moreover, what truly distinguished her was the extraordinary determination throughout her career. For instance, she conducted countless experiments under challenging conditions to prove her revolutionary theories. Furthermore, as the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, she broke gender barriers in science.
