A. 应用文
1. 口头通知的基本结构
口头通知即以口头形式传达通知的内容。其特点是：用词较口语化，句子不太复杂，通常只需用一段话讲清其内容即可。另外，口头通知的开头和结尾通常有固定套语，开头常用May I have your attention, please 结尾常用Any question That's all. Thank you.
2. 书面通知的基本结构
书面通知即以书面形式表达通知的内容。其特点是：措辞较严谨，句子结构相对口头通知更复杂，还会使用一些非谓语动词短语(如用不定式表目的等)和从句(如if从句、when从句、so that从句等)。
与口头通知不同，书面通知有比较固定的格式。通知开头要有标题(通常为Notice)，标题下面是正文，正文后通常还有发通知的单位(通常写在右下角)和发通知的日期等。
3. 常用表达
开头语：
(1)May I have your attention, please
请大家注意一下。
(2)Attention please, everyone. I have an announcement to make.
请大家注意。我要宣布一件事。
(3)Be quiet. There is something important I have to tell you.
安静。我有件重要的事情要告诉你们。
(4)A meeting/contest will be held in…at…
一场会议/比赛将会在某时某地举行。
提出要求：
(1)Everyone is asked to be there on time.
要求每个人都按时到达。
(2)Be sure not to be late.
千万别迟到。
(3)Please be present on time.
请准时出席。
(4)Those who are interested in it are warmly welcome.
热烈欢迎任何对此感兴趣的人(参加)。
结束语：
That's all. Thank you very much.
