1. It’s a ten- minute walk
这是英语中数词+连字符+名词单数的常用结构，用来作定语修饰后面的名词，表达“……时长的/……距离的”含义。
结构拆解： ten-minute 是复合形容词，必须用单数名词，不能写成 ten-minutes ；
同义替换：= It's only a ten minutes' walk.（名词所有格形式，名词用复数）
例句

从我家到学校是五分钟的车程。
2. She gave us a ten-minute talk about English learning.
她给我们做了一个十分钟的英语学习讲座。

Language points
1. It‘ time for me to go to bed
这是初一英语的核心句型 It's time for sb. to do sth.，意思是“到某人做某事的时间了”。
结构拆解：
It是形式主语，真正主语是后面的不定式短语 to go to bed ；
for me 表示“对我来说”；
同义句型：It's time for bed.（注意 for 后接名词，不能接动词）
例句

2. It's time for her to read English.
她该读英语了。
