Last winter vacation, I went to Beijing with my family. It was an amazing trip.
First, we visited the Palace Museum. The ancient buildings there were so beautiful that they took my
breath away. Then we climbed the Great Wall.Standing on it, I could see the beautiful scenery around. It
was a really wonderful experience. Besides, we also tasted the famous Beijing Roast Duck. It was so
delicious!
I really had a great time during this winter vacation. I not only had fun but also learnt a lot about Chinese history 第二篇
Last summer, I went to Sanya with my family for a week. It was an amazing trip!
The weather was sunny. We stayed in a hotel near the beach. Every morning, I woke up early to watch
the sunrise. The sky turned orange and pink—it was so beautiful! During the day, I swam in the clear blue
sea. We saw colorful fish and even a small turtle! In the evenings, we walked along the beach and ate
delicious seafood. The best part was learning how to surf. It felt fantastic!
This trip taught me two things: First, nature is full of surprises. Second, if I keep trying, I can learn new skills. I hope to visit Sanya again next year!

To be a helper of my family
I often do chores at home, such as making the bed, washing the dishes, walking the dog and so on. I take out the rubbish and pack up my things every day.
Last Friday evening, my parents were busy with their work and didn’t come back home until 8 o’
clock. I decided to cook a meal for my family instead of just waiting. It was my first time to make a meal.
I learned it on the Internet before cooking. With the step-by-step direction（s 按照逐步的指导进行）, I could
make the first dish. Then I tried to cook another. When my parents came back home and saw the dishes on
the table, they couldn’t believe their eyes. They were very pleased with me.
East or west, home is the best. I think every family member should share housework. It is our duty to keep our house clean and tidy.

My best friend
Nancy is my best friend. We both have similarities and differences.
We are different in many ways. For example, Nancy is much taller and more outgoing than me. She has
a great sense of humour, so she always tells us jokes to make everyone laugh. She is also better at singing
and dancing. However, I love playing the guitar and I am better at playing badminton. Besides differences,
we also have something in common. First, we both enjoy playing sports and work hard at school, so we can
get good grades in all subjects. Second, we also love reading and usually go to the library together on
weekends.
In fact, I don't really care if（是否） my friends are similar to or different from me. I think differences
