过去将来时表示从过去的某一时间来看将来要发生的动作或呈现的状态。 过去将来时的出发点是过去，即从过去某一时刻看以后要发生的动作或状态。

1.“would/should+动词原形”常表示将要发生的动作,常用于宾语从句或间接引语中。其中,would可用于各种人称,should多用于第一人称。
三、过去将来时的用法
He said that he would wait for us at the bus stop.
他说他会在车站等我们。
We thought that we should never see you again.
我们想我们再也见不到你了。
2.was/were going to do表示过去打算、计划做某事,或在过去看来有迹象表明要发生某事。
She was not going to do anything that evening.
那天晚上她不准备做任何事。
3.was/were about to do表示“正要做,即将做”。
We were about to go into the cinema when Mary appeared.
我们正要走进电影院时,玛丽出现了。
4.was/were on the point of doing...when... 表示“正要做……这时(突然)……”。
He was on the point of leaving when we came in.
他正要离开时,我们突然进来了。
