Language Points
1. 比较Come in 与 Welcome
Come in.是一个祈使句,意思是“进来吧。”它的语气比较直接,用来直接邀请某人进入某个地方。
Welcome.可以单独作感叹词,用来表达欢迎某人。语气上更加正式和礼貌。
Welcome也可以接副词,如Welcome back. / Welcome home.
Welcome+to+地点名词,如Welcome to our school.
2. Whose are they
Whose are they 是一个特殊疑问句,用来询问物品的归属。whose是疑问代词,意思是“谁的”。
注意区分:Who’s 是Who is的缩写,意思是“谁是”,例如Who’s your English teacher
3. The black one is my grandpa’s.
’s 是名词所有格,表示“某物属于某人”或某物的所有权。
eg: my cousin’s watch

(1) sb. spend + 时间 / 金钱 + (in) doing sth.

莉莉常常花很多时间在她的作业上。
※ 比较a lot of 与 lots of
a lot of 和lots of 二者可互换,都既可以修饰可数名词,也可以修饰不可数名词。
eg: There are lots of / a lot of trees on the hill.
We have a lot of / lots of time.
really adv.非常;确实;真正地。作为一个程度副词,常用来修饰形容词,副词或者动词。
试译:她非常漂亮。
She is really beautiful.
5. She can play it really well!
试译:他真的很爱打篮球。
He really likes playing basketball.
总结:play在此处是及物动词,后接表示球类运动的名词时,
play与球类运动名词之间不加冠词。
