Pronunciation
“Stress（重音）” 简单说，就是我们读英文单词或句子时，把某个音节（单词拆成的 “小发音单位”）或某个词读得更重、声音更响、时间稍长一点的方式。就像我们说中文 “苹果” 时，会把声音多放在 “苹” 上（píng guǒ），英文的重音也是给某个部分 “重点强调”，让单词和句子的节奏更清晰，意思更突出。
比如单词 “teacher”，我们会读成 “ ti t (r)”，重音在第一个音节 “tee” 上，读的时候 “tee” 要比后面的 “cher” 更响亮、稍长 —— 这就是重音的作用。

Sense group 意群
“意群”（Sense Group）简单说，就是英文句子里意思紧密相关的几个单词组成的小团体。就像我们把家里的东西分类放（比如书本放书架、衣服放衣柜），英文句子也会把表达一个小意思的词 “打包”，这些 “词的小团体” 就是意群。
读句子时按意群停顿，能让意思更清楚；分析句子时找意群，能帮我们快速读懂长句，不会把单词拆得七零八落、理解错意思。

Pause 停顿
“Pause（停顿）” 就是我们读英文句子时，在合适的地方短暂 “歇一口气” 的动作。它不是随便停，而是像给句子 “分段”—— 就像我们说中文时不会一口气把所有话说完（比如不会说 “今天我和同学去公园玩还吃了冰淇淋”），英文也需要在关键地方停一下，让听的人能跟上意思，也让自己读得更自然。
