My collection—coins
I love collecting coins, and now I have many coins from all over the world!
I started collecting when I was 8 years old. One day, my grandfather came back from a trip to Europe and gave me some shiny coins. They had beautiful designs with foreign characters, animals, and plants. I decided to keep them, and that’s how my collection began.
Over the years, I have added more coins to my collection, each one special in its own way. Two years ago, my friend Li Hua gave me some ancient coins from the Qing Dynasty in China. I loved the bronze color and the history they carried. When I touch them, I feel like I’m listening to stories from the past.
There are three reasons why I collect coins. Firstly, they are beautiful. Secondly, they help me learn about different cultures. Finally, they teach me about history. I hope you’ll enjoy collecting coins too!
