The Tibetan antelope was an endangered animal, but because of human action The Changtang National Natureto protect it,its numbers are now recovering.Reserye is in western China and covers an area of about 120,000 square miles. ltwas created to protect the area and the wildlife that live there. The Tibetanantelope is one of the rarest creatures on the Tibetan Plateau (高原). It is wellknown for its fine fur, so it was poached (偷猎) and was driven to the brink (边缘) of extinction years ago.

In the evening, I drink… I think about the antelopes and what Zhaxi told me. Much is being done to protect wildlife, but if we really want to save the planet, we must change our way of life. Only when we learn to exist in harmony with nature can we stop being a threat to wildlife and our planet.
