感叹句是表达一种较为强烈的感情(如喜悦、赞叹、惊异、愤怒、厌恶等)的句子。读时一般用降调。
Can you divide them into two groups
这类感叹句在句式上与陈述句没有任何区别，只是将句号变成了感叹号，语气变得更强烈而已。
What (+a/an) + 形容词 + 名词 (+主语+谓语)！
Ⅱ.两大句型
1. What 型感叹句：
(1) What an interesting poem (it is)!
中心词为单数可数名词
加冠词a或者an
(2) What bad weather (it is)!
中心词为不可数名词
无冠词
(3) What beautiful flowers (they are)!
中心词为复数名词
无冠词
what 型感叹句以名词为中心词。
2. How型感叹句：
(1) How lucky we are!
(2) How quickly the time passed!
(3) How bright the stars are!
How+形容词/副词 (+主语+谓语)！
how型感叹句以形容词或副词为中心词。
1. what和how引导的感叹句通常可以互相转换。
① What a lovely day it is!
→ How lovely the day is!

→ How good the suggestions are!

①断：在陈述句中的谓语动词后将句子断开。
例句1:The picture is | very beautiful.这幅画很漂亮。
例句2:It’s | an interesting film.这是一部有趣的电影。
陈述句转换为感叹句常用“断→找→去→添→改”五步法。
例句1:The picture is very beautiful.这幅画很漂亮。
例句2:It’s an interesting film.这是一部有趣的电影。
如：
②找：找出断线后的中心词是哪一类词。
例句1断线后的中心词是形容词“beautiful”，例句2断线后的中心词是名词“film”。
比如例句1中修饰中心词“beautiful”的是“very”,变感叹句时应去掉“very”。但是需要注意的是，中心词如果是名词，名词前的修饰成分是万万不能去掉的。
比如例句2中修饰中心词“film”的是“an interesting”，这部分是不能去掉的。
③去：中心词是形容词或副词时，要把修饰该形容词或副词的成分去掉。
⑤改：将陈述句句首单词首字母由大写改为小写，将感叹词及其修饰的部分放在句首，感叹词首字母改为大写，同时句尾的句号要改为感叹号。
据此，例句1变成了“How beautiful the picture is!”，例句2变成了“What an interesting film it is!”。
④添：即添上感叹词。如果断线后的中心词是形容词或副词，就添how;如果断线后的中心词是名词，就添what。
①在口语中，表示强烈的语气时，常常省略感叹句中的主语和谓语，有时只用一个词或短语。

go skateboarding 去进行滑板运动

二换：斜线前后换位置

三加：斜线前为名词，加what
斜线前为形容词或副词，加how
一断 ：在谓语后断开

感叹句需要注意的几个问题
②what引导的感叹句与how引导的感叹句之间的转化只适用于含有形容词的句子。
