My favourite festival is the Mid-Autumn Festival. It falls on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month.
The Mid-Autumn Festival is about the Chinese culture of family. It is a time to get together with family members and celebrate. My family usually celebrates the festival with a big meal. There are lots of delicious dishes and we have a great time. After dinner, we sit outside, look at the beautiful full moon and enjoy delicious mooncakes. They have many different fillings. I really like them! It is also a night for kids to play with amazing lanterns. They come in all kinds of cool shapes and colours.
The Mid-Autumn Festival is a wonderful time for families to enjoy fun under the beautiful moon.
