Making Resolutions
Resolutions can be about anything. Some are about physical health. For example, some people may promise to exercise more or eat more healthily. Some resolutions have to do with learning new things. People might decide they are going to take up a hobby, like painting or photography. And some resolutions have to do with self-improvement, like becoming more confident or organized. For example, a student may decide to start a new study plan.
Although there are differences, most resolutions have one thing in common: People hardly ever keep them! But there are good reasons for this. Sometimes the resolutions may be too difficult to keep. And sometimes people just forget about them.

1. Do you think it is useful to make resolutions Why or why not
I think making resolutions is useful. Resolutions help us set clear goals.
For example, if we make a resolution to study English for 30 minutes every day, we can develop good habits and make progress slowly. They also give us direction. Once we set a goal, we are more likely to take action. But we should make sure our resolution is possible to achieve. If a resolution is too difficult, we may give up easily. So as long as we make reasonable resolutions and stick to them, they can be very helpful.

2. Do you like to plan ahead or do things at the last moment Why
I like to plan ahead. Planning ahead makes me feel organized.
For instance, if I have a math test next week, I can make a study plan and review a little each day. This way, I won’t feel stressed at the last minute. Planning also helps me use time better. I can finish tasks step by step and have more time to relax or do other things I like. Doing things at the last moment often makes me rush and make mistakes. So planning ahead is a better choice for me.

New Year, New Me
As the year draws to a close, it is the perfect time to think about the changes we want to make in the coming new year. We can improve our lives by learning something new, forming good habits, working harder at something, or even improving our relationships with others. I hope to make next year better than this one, so I am going to make three resolutions.
The first one is about taking up a new hobby. I am going to join the school music club to improve my singing! I think singing is a great activity. And my friends and family all love my singing.
I am also going to get fitter. Besides jogging, I am going to do push-ups and sit-ups. I feel energetic after I exercise. I’m sure I’m going to be a healthier and happier person.
Last but not least, my English isn’t good enough, so I am going to study for two more hours each weekend. It might be hard, but I am going to get a lot better at English!

Hello, everyone! Sometimes we can see rubbish in the schoolyard. Now I want to show the reasons why it exists and how to solve the problem.
Firstly, we must find the reasons why it exists. Here are the details.
Many students don’t feel responsible for keeping the schoolyard clean. They think it’s the cleaners’ job, not theirs. So, they throw rubbish without thinking twice.
There might be too few rubbish bins in the schoolyard, or they might be placed in inconvenient places. Students can’t always find a rubbish bin when they have rubbish in their hands. As a result, they just drop it on the ground.
Next, I’d like to share with you how to solve this problem. Here are the details.
We’re going to tell the students it’s our duty to keep our school clean. Also, teachers can tell us why it’s important to keep our school clean and what harm rubbish does to our school.
We’re going to put enough rubbish in the schoolyard. Also, we can use different-coloured rubbish bins for different kinds of rubbish.

A few weeks later, summer was almost at an end. The ant continued to take corn home every day, but the grasshopper just played his violin and danced around.
“Come on, Ant!” said the grasshopper. “Dance with me!”

“No, thanks, Grasshopper. There’s just a little bit more work for me to do. I want to be warm in the winter.”
And then the cold winter came. The ant sat at home by her fire, enjoying some lovely corn soup. Then she heard a knock at the door.
“Oh, dear Ant,” said the grasshopper, “you must help me! I have no food! And no fire to keep me warm!”
