Max: Hi, Song Lin. It was fantastic. Thanks.
Song Lin: So you went back to Canada to celebrate Christmas with your family, right
Max: Yes. I haven’t seen my family for a whole year, so it was great to them again.
Song Lin: Good for you. So what did you do when you arrived home
Max: Well. First, I helped decorate the Christmas tree and put the presents under it. Then I helped my mom prepare for the family dinner on Christmas eve.

Each Chinese festival has its own origin and meaning, and that is the reason why we celebrate it.

Besides the Spring Festival, there are many other traditional festivals which are also deeply rooted in Chinese traditional culture
It is our duty to promote the traditional festivals and Chinese traditional culture.
Jim is an exchange student in China. He has great interest in Chinese traditional festivals. Please work in groups and choose one of the festivals. And then talk with your team members about the festival and your festival experiences.
