In my hometown (China), summer is from June to August, while in Auckland, summer is from December to February. In my hometown, winter is cold and it often snows, but in Auckland, winter (from June to August) is not very cold. Also, the seasonal scenery is different. In my hometown, trees lose leaves in winter, but in Auckland, autumn has orange and brown leaves on trees.
