What’s up 可以翻译为“怎么了;出什么事了;近来如何”
【类似表达】
(1) How’s it going 最近怎么样;进展如何
日常寒暄,问对方生活近况,也能用于询问工作、项目等进展,比如 “How’s it going with your new project (你的新项目进展咋样啦? )” 。
(2) How’s everything 一切都好吗;一切进展如何
从更全面的角度,关心对方生活各方面(工作、家庭、心情等 )的状态,比如许久未见的同学,问 “How’s everything (一切都还好不? )” ,想了解整体情况 。
1. “there be” 句型一般将来时的表达:
肯定句: There will be +名词(短语).
否定句: There will not / won’t be + 名词(短语).

few,形容词,带否定含义“几乎没有,很少的”,修饰可数名词。其比较级、最高级为规则变化:
few-fewer-fewest。
“a few”表示“一些”。
2) There’s little food left. We have to buy some.

little,形容词,带否定含义“很少的,几乎没有的”
“小的,幼小的”,修饰不可数名词。其比较级、
最高级为不规则变化: little-less-least。
