教 学 过 程 设 计 Lead-in Look and Guess 1.Show students the following two riddles and let them guess: ◆I'm busy every day,making sweet things in the way.I fly from flower to flower,with a yellow and black power.Who am I ◆I live in a house that's made of wax,and I've got a job that never lacks.I dance to show where food can be found,and I'm important in nature all around.Who am I Tell students that the two riddles have the same answer and encourage them to share it.Then ask students what facts about bees they can get from the two riddles. Free Talk 1.Encourage them to talk about bees in groups.The teacher can provide the following questions as prompts: ◆What do bees look like?       ◆What do bees make ◆How do bees communicate ◆Why are bees important 2.Invite some groups to share what they know about bees.During the process,the teacher can provide the related words and expressions to help them. 3.The teacher can list the facts about bees according to the students' share on the blackboard.If possible,the teacher can find a short video to help them have a better understanding. Pre-reading 1a Have students look at the title and the pictures on Page 36.Guess what the text is about. 2.Invite some students to share their opinions. While-reading Skim Reading Ask students to read the text quickly and check their guess.Then match the main ideas with each paragraph. Post-reading 1d Have students work in pairs to think about another title for the text. Invite some pairs to share their titles and why they give the titles. Encourage students to share other interesting facts they know about bees in class.If students have no idea about it,the teacher can add some facts to broaden students' horizons.
