Brainstorm
What will you do if one of your friends or classmates is sick
Send a message to ask about how my friend is feeling and wish them to get well soon.
Take down the key points of the lessons carefully for them, so they can keep up when they return to school.
Bring some fresh fruits or warm porridge to them, which can help them get more nutrition.
Ask other classmates if we can go to see them together after school, so they won’t feel lonely.
Tell them to listen to the doctor, take medicine on time and have plenty of rest.

Dear Li Hua,
I’m sorry to hear that exam anxiety(考试焦虑) is affecting your sleep and appetite(食欲). In fact, you’re not alone in this. Lots of students feel stressed before big exams, and the following suggestions may be practical for you.
First of all, moderate pressure can make you more motivated(有动力的). Think of the exam as a chance to show what you’ve learned. Second, try to make your bedroom a good place to rest: keep it dark, quiet, and don’t study there late at night, or you’ll get tired out(疲惫不堪). In addition, eat your meals on time and keep a balanced diet. For instance, eat nutritious(有营养的) food like fish, nuts and oats(燕麦)—they help your brain work better. What’s more, spend 20-30 minutes exercising each day, like walking or playing ball games—it will help you relax.
Most importantly, when you feel overwhelmed(压力过大的), don’t keep it to yourself, talk to your teachers or classmates—they can help you feel better. The exam is just one part of your life, your hard work and courage are what really matter. Believe in yourself, take care of yourself, and you’ll succeed.
Yours sincerely,
Peter
