Insect bite
Wash the affected area with soap
and water. If the area around the bite becomes hot, red or itchy, try to cool it down with an ice pack.
First aid guidelines
Burn
If it is a minor burn, cool the burnt area with running water. Do not use ice. Remove any clothing very carefully from around the burn.
Cut
Put pressure on the cut with
a clean cloth. Once the bleeding
stops, clean the area with alcohol
and cotton wool. Then cover it with
a plaster or a bandage.
Broken arm
To reduce pain, put an ice pack on the injured area. Support the broken arm with a cushion or some clothing to prevent unnecessary movement.
