基变序,有规律:
一二三,特殊记,th要从四加起;
八去t,九去e,ve要用f来代替;
整十变y为ie,再加th别忘记;
若遇几十几,只变个位就可以。
在阿拉伯数字后加上序数词的最后两个字母。
2. 基数词变序数词
① 序数词前一般要加定冠词the表示顺序。
e.g. My brother is planting the second tree.
我弟弟正在种植第二棵树。
②序数词前已有形物代、名词所有格等限定词时,则不再加the。
e.g. her fifth birthday 她的5岁生日
Lily’s fifth birthday 丽丽的第五个生日
4.序数词用法:
Activity 3 Read the text and tick(√) the correct words and then read the text aloud.
On Tree-planting Day every year, Miss Wang always takes her students to plant trees in the park. She plants the (one/first) tree to show the students how to do it. Then, she helps some students to plant the(two/second) tree. After that, boys plant the (three/third) tree and girls plant the (four/ fourth) tree. In the end, students plant trees by themselves. This year, Miss Wang wants to plant (nine/the ninth) trees.
序数词前要加 the,若序数词前已有形物代、名词所有格等限定词时,则不再加the。
Key points
On Tree-planting Day every year, Miss Wang always takes her students to plant trees in the park. She plants the first tree to show the students how to do it.
