用于礼貌地提出请求
常用句式 Could you (please) do… 你能做…吗？
肯定回答 I’d love to.（我很乐意）/Sure.（当然）/Certainly.（当然）/Of course.（当然）/No problem.（没问题）
否定回答 Sorry,I can’t.（抱歉，我不能。）/I’m afraid not.（我恐怕不能。）/I’d love to,but I have to…（我很乐意，但我必须…）
用于表示他人的许可

表示能力
could意为“能；会；可以”，此时could是can的过去式，表示过去的能力。
Eg:She could play the piano at the age of four. 她四岁时就会弹钢琴。
表示推测
could意为“可能”，常用于肯定句、否定句或疑问句中，且could表示的可能性比can小。
Eg:He couldn’t be over fifty. 他不可能超过50岁。
can与could的异同

表示能力 can表示现在的能力；could表示过去的能力
表示请求/许可 could比can语气更委婉
表示推测 can表示的可能性比could大，有一定事实依据；could表示“（理论上）可能”，从逻辑上分析可能，但实际上不一定发生
