Dear editor,
A serious earthquake attacked our area unexpectedly recently. Hundreds of people lost their lives, and more people were hurt.
During this time, I saw many strangers devoted their efforts to saving lives, providing food and clothes regardless of their own safety. With the help of the people all over China, our new houses are also being reconstructed and it is not long before we moved into them.
I wrote to you to express my thanks to those who helped us when we suffered the disaster. Now, I think what we should do is to study harder and help more people in return.
