First, Li Na and Liu Wei learnt about the Rocket Club.
He took a rocket and launched it. The rocket took off into the sky and disappeared. Li Na and Liu Wei were very surprised.
A moment later, a toy plane quickly flew past Li Na and Liu Wei.
Li Na and Liu Wei were very excited about those clubs.

We use the simple past to talk about things
that happened or did not happen in the past.
我们用一般过去时谈论发生(或未发生)在过去的事。
1. 表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态。
He said that yesterday.
I got up at six thirty yesterday morning.
My father wrote a passage yesterday afternoon.
Did you have a good time last summer
2. 表示过去经常或反复发生的动作。
My father often went to work by bus last year.
When I was a child, I often listened to music.
一般过去时用法
We form the simple past tense like this:
Work out the rule
For most verbs, we add _____ to form the simple past tense.
-ed
1. 清清，即 ed 在清辅音后面念/t/，
例： finished helped passed cooked
2. 浊浊元也浊，即 ed 在元音，浊辅音后面念 /d/，
例： borrowed enjoyed called moved
3. /t/ /d/ 之后念 /id/，即 ed 在 /t/ /d/ 音后面念 /id/,例： wanted shouted needed counted

肯定回答：Yes, 主语 + did. 否定回答：No, 主语 + didn’t.
