Language points
prefer 是一个常用动词,意指 “更喜欢;宁愿”,用法如下:
1.后接名词或代词
表示 “更喜欢某人或某物”。
例如:I prefer tea to coffee. 与咖啡相比,我更喜欢茶。
She prefers dogs to cats. 比起猫,她更喜欢狗。
2.后接动名词
即 prefer doing sth,表示 “更喜欢做某事”,强调一种长期的爱好或习惯性的行为。
例如:He prefers reading books in his free time.他更喜欢空闲时读书。
They prefer traveling by train. 他们更喜欢乘火车旅行。
