Language points
prefer 是一个常用动词，意指 “更喜欢；宁愿”，用法如下：
1.后接名词或代词
表示 “更喜欢某人或某物”。
例如：I prefer tea to coffee. 与咖啡相比，我更喜欢茶。
She prefers dogs to cats. 比起猫，她更喜欢狗。
2.后接动名词
即 prefer doing sth，表示 “更喜欢做某事”，强调一种长期的爱好或习惯性的行为。
例如：He prefers reading books in his free time.他更喜欢空闲时读书。
They prefer traveling by train. 他们更喜欢乘火车旅行。

3.后接不定式
即 prefer to do sth，也表示 “更喜欢做某事”，但更强调特定的或一次性的行为。

4.用于 prefer A to B 结构

6.后接 that 从句
