Halloween is one of the traditional festivals in Western countries, celebrated on October 31st every year.
It originated from the ancient Celtic festival "Samhain" and was later absorbed by Christianity and renamed "Halloween".
Nowadays, Halloween has become an opportunities for families and communities to gather,
People hold costume dance,wearing various costumes to showcase their creativity and imagination.
万圣节是西方国家的传统节日之一，在每年的 10 月 31 日庆祝。

On the eve of Halloween, children dress up in various customs and carry candy bags filled with candies, going door-to-door and saying "Trick or Treat".
When the door opens, they shout "Trick or Treat!".
If the host give candies, the children thank them and leave happily,
if no candies are given, the children may play pranks such as soaping doorknobs or throwing eggs.
万圣节前夕，孩子们打扮得各具特色，拎着装满糖果的袋子，挨家挨户说 "不给糖就捣蛋"。门一打开，他们就大喊 "不给糖就捣蛋！"。
如果主人给了糖果，孩子们会向他们道谢，然后高高兴兴地离开；
如果主人没有给糖果，孩子们可能会恶作剧，比如用肥皂砸门把手或扔鸡蛋。
In addition, many families hold parties on Halloween.
They decorate their houses, place pumpkin latterns, and prepare various foods and drinks.
Children can play various games at the party, such as "Poke-a-Pumpkin" or "Bobbing for Apples".

他们装饰房屋，摆放南瓜灯，准备各种食物和饮料。

Another tradition associated with Halloween is carving pumpkin latterns.
People cut off the top of the pumpkin, scoop out the pulp and seeds from the inside and then carve out various facial expressions.
The most common facial expression is a smiling mouth and to triangular eyes, forming a "grining" smile.
Then people place candies inside the pumpkin, light them up and create a humorous glow at night.
与万圣节有关的另一个传统是雕刻南瓜灯。
人们切掉南瓜的顶部，挖出里面的果肉和种子，然后雕刻出各种面部表情。
最常见的面部表情是微笑的嘴和三角形的眼睛，形成 "咧嘴" 笑。
