Dear Badminton,
I remember the days before we met clearly. Every day when I got home, there was nothing that interested me. Years passed, but nothing changed. Then you moved to the playground near my house. You opened your doors wide. You let me walk in.
At first, I was really nervous when I started playing. I failed a lot. I was out of breath. I ran badly. But no matter how many times I messed up, you always let me have another try. You were so patient with me.
I used to worry that badminton would just be another hobby I’d give up, like piano playing, cake making or painting. But now I know you’re special. You make me want to be a better person. I get up early to practice, eat healthy food and sleep well.
One day, when I was on the playground, I saw some old people coming to play. I suddenly had the answer to that question I was once asked—“What do you want to be when you grow up ” I want to be there with you till the end.

Dear Amy,My special hobby is picking up rubbish. Yes, that’s right. And I especially enjoy collecting waste wood. These days, many kids like collecting special things called “Goods(谷子)”. Fans often call them “guzi”. Among these Goods, the most popular is the badge(徽章), known as “baji”.
These badges are usually small and round, and there are pictures of characters from famous cartoons on them. However, not every company(公司)can sell badges. Only some cartoon companies have the right to sell those badges, and their prices differ a lot. Usually, common badges might cost 15 to 30 yuan.
Why do teenagers love badges so much First, wearing a badge shows their love for a cartoon. It makes them feel close to the characters they like. Second, badges help them make friends. At anime conventions, badge lovers talk to each other, trade badges, and meet people with the same hobbies. They know they’re part of a big group.
But sometimes this hobby can cause problems. Some fans spend too much money—they even use their breakfast money to buy expensive badges. Others get upset if they can’t get the badges they want, or if someone else has a better collection.
Collecting “baji” and other kinds of “guzi” can be a fun hobby. But it’s also important to remember not to spend too much money or get too stressed about it. After all, the real magic of cartoons is in the stories and the feelings they give us, not just in the badges we collect.

C. You have no right to stop me going into this public park.
D. Things aren’t right between the two brothers after the fight.
15. ( ) The third paragraph tells us .
A. the reason for the high prices of “baji”
B. why teenagers love “baji”
C. the problems caused by collecting “baji”
D. how to start collecting “baji”
16. ( ) What’s the main purpose of this passage
A. To explain why teenagers are crazy about Goods.
